Kasane (重ね, "layering") is a new kind of logic puzzle. The rule takes ten seconds to learn: every canvas was painted one rectangle at a time, each layer covering what came before. Read the layers back, from the first laid down to the last. That's it — and it's enough for a hundred pools and beyond.

ONE RULE, REAL DEDUCTION
Every puzzle is generated and verified to have exactly one solution. No guessing, no trial and error — if you're stuck, the answer is always there in the picture, waiting to be read.

FIVE SEASONS ON ONE RIVER
A hundred pools climb from spring through summer, autumn, winter and night. Cross between seasons and the landscape draws itself in ink before your eyes — mountains, villages, koi ponds, river gorges — no two crossings the same.

MADE TO BE CALM
Warm paper, flat pigment, gentle water sounds and a koto phrase when the season turns. A timer runs, but only to reward the swift — nothing hurries you. No forced ads, ever.

INK, EARNED OR BOUGHT
Ink (墨) reveals layer edges and gives hints. Solve a pool perfectly and the river gives a drop back. Every pool is solvable with no ink at all — it is a convenience, never a toll.

OPEN WATER
Finish all five seasons and the river reaches the sea: endless freshly generated pools at five depths, from Shallows to Abyss. No two are ever the same.

The palette is colourblind-safe throughout. Progress lives on your device. Kasane collects no data — no accounts, no tracking, no analytics.
