## Description

There is no shortage of to-do apps. The problem is how easy the notifications are to dismiss.

PESTY does not stop when you tap "done". It stops when you submit the proof you chose when you created the alarm.

■ Five nagging levels

From Gentle to Hellish. The higher the level, the tighter the spacing — and the longer the window until your deadline, the more times it fires.

■ It tightens toward the deadline

One nag at the start, then the gaps shrink as the deadline approaches. The create screen shows you exactly when each one will arrive, before you commit.

■ Proof stops it, nothing else

Photo, timer, or checklist. Photo proof never leaves your device — only a hash of it reaches the server.

■ It keeps going past the deadline

Miss it and PESTY keeps firing at the minimum interval, for up to 48 hours.

■ You decide when it is quiet

Schedule a pause for meetings or sleep, up to 8 hours at a time.

■ Members

Two people who both agree can set alarms for each other. The link is only created when the person who will be nagged shows a QR code and accepts the request, so no one can nag anyone without consent. Setting alarms for someone else requires Lite or above.

■ No name, no email

There is no sign-up. A random 10-digit number issued by the app is the entire account. No contacts, no location, no advertising identifiers.

The trade-off: lose that number and the account cannot be recovered — we hold no contact details to verify you with. Save it when you first open the app. To move to a new device, issue a transfer code in Settings first.

Subscriptions are billed to your store account on confirmation and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your device's store settings.
