## Description

Measure tremor frequency, power spectrum and amplitude with iPhone sensors. For research and education; not a diagnostic device.

TremorLab is a research and education tool that quantifies tremor using the iPhone's accelerometer and gyroscope.

MEASUREMENTS
• Power spectral density (Welch) and peak frequency
• RMS and peak-to-peak amplitude — in g, m/s², g², dB, or mechanical power (W, W/kg)
• Dominant movement axis (principal component analysis)
• 3D surface spectrogram — rotatable view of time, frequency and power
• Morlet wavelet scaleogram and STFT spectrogram

PROTOCOLS
Rest, postural, kinetic and standing lower-limb recordings. Each protocol uses its own analysis band; the standing lower-limb protocol examines 13–18 Hz.

SIGNAL QUALITY
Every recording is checked for true sample rate, timing jitter, duration and in-band power ratio, producing a 0–100 quality score and a confidence level. When quality is insufficient, the app declines to interpret the result.

DATA
JSON and CSV export. Transfer to a desktop companion over the local network.

IMPORTANT
TremorLab is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or screen for any disease, and does not provide medical advice. Results are meaningful only alongside clinical assessment by a qualified professional. Never base a medical decision on this app.

Measurements come from the phone's own inertial sensors. Sensor calibration and mounting vary between devices, so values are not directly comparable across phones or against laboratory equipment.
