## Description

Snap a painting, building, or statue. Lensmark verifies what it is, then tells the story: who built it, when, and why it matters, with sources you can check.

Every place has a story. Lensmark finds it.

Take a photo of a landmark, a monument, an old building, or a statue you walked past — and Lensmark tells you what it is and why it matters. Not a one-line label. A real explanation, the kind a good tour guide would give you.

How it works
Point and shoot, or pick a photo from your library. Lensmark identifies what's in the frame, then researches it — pulling from current web sources rather than relying on memorized facts. You get the history, the architecture, the people involved, and what happened there.

Ask anything
Curious who designed it? What the building was before? Why the statue faces that direction? Ask in plain language and keep the conversation going. Lensmark remembers what you're looking at and researches each new question as you ask it.

See where you've been
Switch to map view to see every place you've identified, plotted where you found it. Your own record of the things you stopped to look at.

Sources you can check
Every explanation cites where the information came from. If something sounds surprising, follow the link and read it yourself. Lensmark is built for people who want to know things, not people who want to be told things.

Good for
Travelers who want context without booking a tour • Architecture and history enthusiasts • Anyone who has ever wondered "what is that building?" • Students and researchers documenting sites

What we do with your photos
Photos you submit are processed by third-party AI services to identify what's in them. Lensmark asks for your permission before this happens, and explains it again in our privacy policy. If your photo contains location data, Lensmark uses it to narrow down what you're looking at — you can turn that off.

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app at any time.
