Choose one of 77 medieval kingdoms: Seljuk, Byzantium, Abbasid, France, Song, Aztec, Mali, Mongol… each with its own coat of arms and capital. 278 real medieval cities sit on the map: Constantinople, Baghdad, Samarkand, Cairo, Córdoba, Hangzhou, Tenochtitlan, Timbuktu… Taking a city grows your army — you claim more squares each turn and your odds in battle improve.
