## Description

A native, fast companion for your self-hosted Mealie server: cook mode with Live Activity timers, offline shopping lists, meal planning, and more.

RecipeConnect is a native iOS client for Mealie, the open-source, self-hosted recipe manager. If you already run your own Mealie server, RecipeConnect gives you a fast, native app experience instead of using the web browser.

Requires a self-hosted Mealie server (mealie.io) that you control. This app does not host, store, or provide recipes of its own.

RECIPES
• Browse, search, and filter your whole collection by category, tag, tool, or ingredient
• Create, edit, duplicate, or delete recipes
• Import recipes from a URL, or snap a photo of a cookbook page for AI-assisted import (AI assistant setup in mealie is required to import from recipes from photos)
• Rate, favorite, and comment on recipes
• Adjustable serving sizes with automatically scaled ingredient amounts

COOK MODE
• Full-screen, one-step-at-a-time cooking view
• Built-in timers with durations auto-detected from your instructions
• Run multiple timers at once across different steps, with an at-a-glance overlay
• Live Activity and Dynamic Island support — check your timers from the Lock Screen without opening the app
• Track completed steps and mark recipes as made

MEAL PLANNING
• Weekly meal plan view with drag-and-drop rescheduling
• Random/auto meal plan generation
• Add a day's or a week's recipes straight to your shopping list

SHOPPING LISTS
• Multiple shopping lists with manual item management
• Add ingredients from any recipe or meal plan with one tap
• Keeps working when you lose signal at the store — edits are queued and sync automatically once you're back online

HOUSEHOLDS & ACCOUNTS
• Multi-user household support with invite links
• Admin tools: user management, permissions, backups, and maintenance
• Manage multiple Mealie servers from one app, including self-signed certificates for local/home servers

WIDGETS
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for today's meal plan
