## Description

Rubrai is built to hold the bond you have with the books you read.

Most reading apps count how many books you finished. Rubrai does that too, but it cares about something else: that years from now you can still find what you were thinking while you read, which line reached you, and why.

YOUR LIBRARY
• Read, reading and want-to-read on separate shelves
• Cover search built in — type the title, it finds the rest
• Rating, page count, tags, start and finish dates
• Daily page log and a yearly reading goal

YOUR NOTES
• As many written notes per book as you like
• Leave a voice note — it is transcribed as you speak
• Photos of the pages you loved
• "Feelings and spaces": favourite quote, the character you remember, the place you imagined… you choose the heading

RUBOT, YOUR READING COMPANION
Rubot reads what you wrote — your notes, your voice notes, the feelings you recorded — and reflects with you on it. It does not summarise the book or review it, and it will not spoil what you have not reached. It asks you one honest question and waits. It answers in whatever language you write to it in.

PRIVACY
Your library is entirely private. Your notes, voice notes and the spaces where you write how you felt are visible only to you — enforced at the database level, so no other user can reach your records. No ads, no tracking, no analytics software. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Voice notes are transcribed using your device's own speech recognition; if the language model is installed on your device, your voice never leaves it.

Rubot runs on our server, not in the app, and it only ever receives the notes for the book you have open. Your library is never used to train anyone's model.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Voice note and photo files are stored on your device and are not backed up to the cloud. If you delete the app or change devices, those files will not come back.
• Transcription depends on your device's speech recognition support and will not perform equally in every language.
• Rubot is AI. It can be wrong, and it is not a substitute for your own reading.

RUBRAI PRO
Rubot, direct messaging, personalised book recommendations, creating a club and joining a club are included in Pro. Monthly or yearly. The subscription renews automatically; you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
