SARCOM is incident command, team management, and mission planning for Search & Rescue — in one app. Built for organized SAR teams, it runs the whole search: from the first callout, through deployment and coordination, to the final debrief.

WHERE ARE MY RESPONDERS, AND WHAT'S BEEN SEARCHED?
That's the question SARCOM answers. Responders check in and deploy from their phone. Their location and track stream to Incident Command in real time — so command can see who is where, keep them safe, and know which ground has been covered and which hasn't. Tracking keeps running with the screen off while a responder is deployed, and stops the moment they end it.

FOR INCIDENT COMMAND
- Live map of deployed responders and their search tracks
- CalTopo integration — set the Initial Planning Point and Last Known Point, push them to your map, and give each operational period its own dated folder
- Build assignments in a draft queue and hand each team its own assignment page (ICS 204)
- Page any team's dispatch by SMS and email, with an editable preview before it fires; teams running Active911 can take pages in their existing alert flow
- Mutual-aid requests notify the requested team's dispatch directly
- Multiple subjects per incident, each with a full lost-person questionnaire and a relative search urgency rating
- ICS forms built in: 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 211, 215, and a running 214 activity log — autofilled from the incident in one action
- Export any ICS form to PDF; closing an incident archives the whole packet into your team's documents
- AI-assisted drafting to turn field notes into clean, structured form entries
- Approve responders into the incident and delegate command roles
- Weather alerts for the incident area

FOR THE TEAM
- Roster, member profiles, and command qualifications
- Credential and training tracking, with email warnings at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days and again when a certification lapses
- Equipment inventory that matches how gear is actually stored: containers nest, so scanning a trailer returns the cases, kits and gear inside it. RFID tags and printed serials both scan, and dive cylinders track visual and hydro cycles
- Availability and on-call scheduling
- Team-owned incident checklists, documents, resources, and an address book
- Reports and analytics on participation and readiness

FOR RESPONDERS
- One-tap check-in and deploy
- Capture field observations, clues and geotagged photos from the search
- Open incident chat for everyone on the callout, kept separate from the official op log
- Register a Garmin inReach, SPOT, Zoleo or satellite phone and send to the op log from outside cell coverage
- Google and Apple sign-in

WHO IT'S FOR
SARCOM is built for organized Search & Rescue teams and their members — not a consumer tracking app. An account is required. Individuals can join free; team features are available to SAR teams.
