## Description

Five million in debt, one rig, one truck. Survey the lease, drill the sweet spots, lay pipe, and get to green before the interest gets you.

You start financed and behind: a $5,000,000 credit facility, one well pad, one tank battery, one truck, and a slot at the refinery. Interest never sleeps. Everything else is up to you.

Energy Epoch is a real-time oil and energy operations sim about the unglamorous part — the logistics. Survey the lease before you spend a dime on a hole. Drill the sweet spots and eat the dusters. Lay roads from wellhead to battery to refinery, because trucks only drive roads. Bridge the creeks, route around rock and water. When trucks can't keep up, choke a well or graduate to pipe.

WHAT YOU RUN
· Survey and wildcat — prospect grades from Barren to Sweet, random IP and decline
· Roads, bridges, and a truck fleet hauling crude then clean
· Tank batteries that treat crude into sellable clean oil
· Oil pipelines for hands-free sales, gas pipe and a gas plant to sell gas at a premium and kill the flare
· A live crude and gas market you have to time
· Debt service, borrowing base, reputation, fines, spills, and weather

The Facility panel names your binding constraint — trucks, treating, or the refinery slot — and the fix. Full tanks spill and flare, and reputation pays for it. Let reputation hit zero and the lease is shut in.

No opponents, no timers, no energy meters. Play Easy to learn the field, then Hard for real interest, shut-in risk, and bankruptcy. Plays offline. Nothing is collected.

Get out of debt. Operate in the green. Own the epoch.
