## Description

Hear a word, pick the picture that matches. No spelling drills, no translation — just the sound of English attached straight to what it means.

Hear a word. Pick the picture that matches. That is the whole game.

EarNoun teaches English nouns the way you picked up your first language — by ear, tied to an image, with nothing in between.

HOW IT WORKS
Each round plays one noun out loud. Pictures appear. Tap the one that matches. Nine words make a session, and a session takes a few minutes.

WHY AUDIO COMES FIRST
Most vocabulary apps show you a written word and ask you to remember it. That trains you to recognise spelling. EarNoun starts from the sound, so you learn what a word is like when somebody actually says it — which is the situation you need it in.

WHY PICTURES INSTEAD OF TRANSLATIONS
A translation turns your first language into a permanent middle step. A picture does not. Attaching sound directly to meaning is how you get to understanding without quietly translating on the way.

WHY IT STAYS LEARNED
A word you have heard and seen has two routes back into memory. A word you have only read has one.

WHAT YOU GET
- Sessions of nine concrete, everyday nouns
- Clear spoken audio for every word
- Its own illustration for every noun
- Downloaded sessions, so you can practise without a connection
- Progress that follows your account across devices

FREE TO START
The first three sessions are free. A subscription opens every remaining session, including ones added later.
