## Description

Most Hebrew apps hand you a streak. This one hands you a year in Israel.

You land in Tel Aviv with two suitcases and a little Hebrew, and take a walk-up on
Allenby Street. Your neighbor across the landing doesn't speak English. Over
the next 36 lessons, that becomes the reason you progress.

My Hebrew Story is a complete beginner's course in modern, spoken Israeli
Hebrew — told as one continuing novel. Eight chapters. One year. A single
story that runs from a first hello in a stairwell to a Passover seder where
you finally follow every word at the table.

YOU'RE IN THE STORY
Choose your protagonist at the start and the whole course follows. You become
Ron or Gal Katz, a programmer from New York who's just made aliyah. Hebrew's
gendered grammar stops being a table to memorize and becomes the way you talk
about yourself.

SPEAK IT OUT LOUD
Step into any dialogue and take a role. The other characters answer in real
voiced Hebrew — about fifteen distinct speakers, including native Israelis, an
American accent for the newcomer, and French- and Russian-accented Hebrew from
your classmates at ulpan.

Tap the mic and answer out loud. Your reply is judged on whether it makes sense
in the conversation, not on whether it matched a script — say something sensible
and different, and it still passes. Stuck? Flip the card to see the Hebrew.
Every turn stays on screen, so you can play your own recording back.
