## Description

Someone is climbing out of a long dark. You will never see their face. You keep a light at the top of the climb, and you hold the door, and you wait.

Here is the strange part. They walk only while you are away.

Keep a Light is a quiet game you play by putting your phone down. Each time you close it, the one in the dark climbs a little further and leaves a letter on the stones for you to find when you return. Forty-one letters, one for every stretch of the climb, written to no one but you.

You cannot rush it. A new day comes only after you have walked ten thousand steps, or stayed away a full day. The progress is real because the time is real. The less of your life you give to the screen, the more of it you give back.

That is the quiet hope behind this game. Most apps are built to hold you. This one is built to help you learn to unplug, gently, a little at a time, until putting the phone down stops feeling like loss and starts feeling like air. The time you take back becomes someone's climb, and slowly the leaving becomes its own reward. My hope is simple. That a small story can help you find some peace away from the screen, and discover that the strength was always on the other side of setting it down.

What is waiting at the top is yours to discover. So is the choice you will be asked to make when the climbing is done. There is more than one way for this to end, and only you can decide which.

What is inside:
* A complete story, told entirely in letters
* Progress earned by living, not by tapping
* A keepsake book that saves every letter you are given
* A wall where you leave your own mark when the climb is done
* No ads, no subscriptions, no nagging

Free to begin. A single one-time purchase called The Full Climb ($3.99) opens the rest of the way to the surface and the morning at the end of it. Paid once, kept forever.

Name the one in the dark. Keep their light. Then close the app, and let them walk.
