## Description

Subnet Scout helps you discover devices and services on the local IPv4 network connected to your iPhone or iPad.

Choose or enter an IPv4 CIDR range, start a scan, and watch results appear as the app combines ICMP echo, targeted checks of common TCP ports, and Bonjour service discovery.

Features:
• Detects the active Wi-Fi IPv4 range
• Finds reachable devices with evidence from ICMP, TCP, and Bonjour
• Shows hostnames, common open TCP ports, and advertised Bonjour services
• Displays service type, hostname, port, addresses, and selected TXT metadata
• Searches by IP address, hostname, port, or service
• Adapts from iPhone navigation to an iPad split-view interface
• Keeps scan results on your device

Subnet Scout uses only public iOS and iPadOS APIs. iOS does not expose the system neighbor table to apps, so MAC addresses and vendor lookup are unavailable. Bonjour discovery is limited to service types declared by this app version.

Local Network permission is required to scan. Results can vary because of device sleep, firewalls, client isolation, VPN routing, and segmented networks.
