Mahjong Sensei turns your iPhone or iPad into a private, table-side coach for Hong Kong Mahjong. Point the camera at physical tiles, confirm what Sensei sees, then get a clear score, tile count, or recommendation—with the reason behind it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Recognize tiles: Scan an unfamiliar tile to see its English name, Traditional Chinese name, Jyutping pronunciation, suit, number, and role.
• Score a winning hand: Count Hong Kong faan with a rules-based engine and see which tiles created each scoring pattern.
• Track what’s live: Count visible tiles between hands, dim dead copies, and highlight the tiles you’re waiting for.
• Learn at the table: Use the bilingual tile guide, scoring cheat sheet, and seat-and-wind references without holding up the game.
• Practice and improve: Play complete four-wind matches against Sensei AI, trained through 96 million self-play decisions, and learn from its coaching on every discard.
• Match your house rules: Choose your minimum faan, limit, flower scoring, and common table conventions.
