The catalog is prepared in advance; new recipes written in chat and personalized adaptations are generated when you ask. KNOW BEFORE YOU COOK See hands-on time, total time and difficulty at a glance. Where a recipe has both times, a long braise can show how much work it asks of you alongside the wait. Scale the servings and check the ingredients before adding them to your shopping list. MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR OWN RECIPES Save the family recipe you keep on a card, or a dish you've made your own. Enter the ingredients and instructions in your words, add a family or author credit, and attach a photo if you like. Your manually added recipes and photos stay private to your account. Sign-in is required; Pro is not. Want help shaping an idea? Choose "Write with Saffra" to work through a new recipe in chat. Imported recipes keep their source credit and link, so you can tell where they came from. ADAPT TO YOUR KITCHEN Tell Saffra about your equipment, diet, allergies and skill level. Ask for substitutions, a recipe adapted to your pantry, or help with a technique. Dietary preferences and allergy filters help narrow your choices. AI suggestions and allergen flags can be incomplete: check ingredients, product labels and substitutions before cooking. COOK HANDS-FREE Start a recipe and Saffra reads the steps aloud. Say "next," "repeat," or ask a question with flour on your hands. Speech uses Apple's recognition service; a clip that needs another transcription may also go to our server. Timers run as Live Activities on your Lock Screen. YOUR PANTRY, HANDLED Add ingredients by hand or scan a barcode. Keep track of quantities and expiry dates. Fridge and counter photos can help identify ingredients — photo scans have a free allowance. With Pro, scan a receipt: text recognition happens on your iPhone, then the extracted text is sent for processing. PLAN, SHOP, COOK • Build a meal plan, or have Saffra fill a week with Pro • Combine recipe ingredients into a grocery list and export it to Apple Reminders • Import supported public recipe pages into your private library with Pro; some websites and restricted pages aren't supported • See nutrition estimates, where available, using ingredient data including USDA FoodData Central FREE AND SAFFRA PRO Try a sample kitchen without an account. Sign in for your own saved recipes, pantry, plans and live AI features. Free includes the recipe library, search, manual recipe entry, pantry, grocery lists and timers, with limited barcode and photo scans and a starter allowance of chat, adaptation and voice cooking. Pro lifts the free allowances, subject to fair-use limits, and adds premium AI voice, receipt scanning, supported recipe import and AI meal-plan filling.
