a smooth compass and a trip recorder — wrapped in living scenery that shifts from
dawn to starry night with the real time of day.

ALTIMETER
• Live elevation from GPS, refined by your iPhone's barometer
• Air pressure in hPa or inHg
• Elevation chart of the last 10 minutes
• Your exact coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds
• GPS accuracy indicator, so you always know how much to trust the number

COMPASS
• Full-screen compass dial with fluid animation
• Heading in degrees plus cardinal direction
• Compass accuracy and current altitude at a glance

TRIPS
• Record hikes, climbs and road trips with one tap
• Distance, total ascent and descent, top speed and max altitude
• Elevation profile chart of your whole route
• Trip history stored on your device

A SKY THAT LIVES
The mountain scenery in Summit follows the real time of day — soft dawns, bright
alpine days, glowing dusks and starry nights with a rising moon. No two sessions
look the same.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Summit is completely free. No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts, no analytics —
and no network connection at all. Your location, altitude and trips never leave
your iPhone.

Works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Barometric pressure requires an
iPhone with a built-in barometer (iPhone 6 and newer). Compass requires a real
device. Keep Summit open while recording a trip — it does not track you in the
background.
