## Description

Reel Remote is a companion app for Reel, the video player for Mac. It does not work on its own.

It copies videos from your Mac to your iPhone so you can watch them anywhere — including where there is no signal. Videos move directly between your Mac and your iPhone; they never pass through an outside server.

■ Getting started
Turn on Remote Sharing in Reel on your Mac, then scan the QR code it shows. No account, no sign-in. If the QR code can't be scanned, you can instead compare an 8-digit number shown on both screens.

■ Take your Mac library with you
- Browse your Mac library as it is
- Pick a video and save it to your iPhone
- Saved videos play with no network at all
- Choose the quality (original, up to 1080p, up to 720p)
- Downloads continue after you leave the app

■ Take a whole playlist
Open a playlist or your favourites from the Mac and save everything inside at once.
Summaries, transcripts, memos and chapters made on the Mac come with them, so they are
readable with no signal.

■ Send from iPhone to Mac
Send videos you shot on your iPhone, or videos in the Files app, back to Reel on your Mac.

■ About the connection
Your Mac and iPhone need to be on the same network, or simply near each other. They connect directly — no router required.

■ Privacy
Videos and library information stay between your two devices. The connection is encrypted. Nothing is uploaded, analyzed, or tracked, and no account is created.
