## Description

New in 1.6: group chats, a private Catch up list for the people you want to stay close to, voice notes, and a month of your writing on your profile.

fiammo is a small place to write to the people who already know you.

Every day there is one question. Some days it is light and you answer it in five words. Some days it asks for something you have not said out loud yet. Either way, your answer goes to your friends, and theirs come to you.

Posts burn after a day. Nothing accumulates into a profile to maintain, so there is nothing to curate and no version of yourself to keep consistent. What you wrote on Tuesday is gone by Thursday, which turns out to be the thing that makes people honest.

There are no followers. You add friends, and you write to friends. Nobody is counting.

WHAT IS IN IT

The daily question. One a day, the same one for everybody, reaching everyone you are friends with. Answer it in a line or write properly against it.

Writing that goes away. Every post burns on its own. You can keep something privately if you want to, but the default is that it passes.

Echoes. Highlight a line in a friend's writing and send it back to them with a note. It becomes a private message, not a public comment, so responding to something quiet stays quiet.

Circles. When a post is not for everyone, choose who reads it.

Messages. Ordinary conversations, with photos and voice notes when a written reply is not the right shape.

The constellation. A reading of what you have been writing about, redrawn each week as a sky you can turn. Not a score, and not shown to anyone else.

WHO IT IS FOR

People who used to write more and stopped, because everywhere to put it had started to feel like a stage. People with five or ten friends they actually talk to, rather than an audience. People who want a reason to say something true once a day.

fiammo is invite-only and iPhone-only, on purpose.
