## Description

Tap the dial and the apps that eat your day go quiet. Set a timer, or build a schedule that runs itself. Latch Pro is free for 7 days.

Latch puts the apps that pull you in behind a shield for as long as you choose.

You unlock your phone to check one thing. Forty minutes later you are still scrolling. Latch sits in that gap: tap the dial, pick a length, and those apps stop opening until the time runs out.

HOW A LATCH WORKS

Pick the apps and websites you want quiet. Tap the dial. Choose 30 minutes, an hour, two hours, or set your own length. Open something you latched and you get a shield instead, with one button that closes it again.

There is no bypass inside the shield. That is the point. To use the app, you come back to Latch and end the latch on purpose.

GOLDEN LATCH

Some sessions should not be up for negotiation. A Golden Latch starts and holds until time is up. No end-early button. No shield escape. If you need out, you have golden tickets, and you only get three. Every account gets three Golden Latches to try.

SCHEDULES THAT RUN WITHOUT YOU

Deep work at 9. Bedtime at 11. Build a window once and it fires on the weekdays you choose, on time, off time, whether or not Latch is open. Windows can overlap.

SEE WHERE THE DAY WENT

The Focus tab shows your real per-app screen time for any day of the week: total time, pickups, which apps took the hours, and an hour-by-hour split between what distracts you and everything else. Latch already knows what tends to pull people in, so the first number appears without you configuring anything.

WIDGETS, SIRI, SHORTCUTS, AND THE ACTION BUTTON

Start a latch from the Home Screen without opening the app. Watch the countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Ask Siri. Map it to the Action Button. Add it as a Shortcut. Widgets for your streak, your weekly goal, your next schedule, and today at a glance.

A WEEKLY GOAL YOU SET

Choose how many hours a week you want held, and Latch tracks the streak. It reads the streak from your real sessions, so a missed day resets it. No freezes, no guilt.

BUILT LOCAL, ON PURPOSE

No account. No sign-up. No servers. No telemetry, no third-party SDKs. Your history lives on your phone and stays there.

Latch runs on Apple's Screen Time framework, so the app itself never receives the names of the apps you pick. It holds opaque tokens. The per-app numbers on the Focus tab are computed inside a sandboxed Apple extension that cannot send them anywhere, including to Latch.

REQUIREMENTS

iPhone, iOS 18 or later. Latch asks for Screen Time access on first launch. iOS requires that permission to shield apps, and Latch cannot do anything without it.
