## Description

Two cards at every step, and only one lets you live.

Dreadpick deals you a horror story and dares you to walk out of it. Pick a follower who bends the odds in your journey, then take on a story in three steps, each putting two identical cards in front of you. One is safe. One isn't. Survive and better company finds you; lose often enough and something stranger takes an interest.

NO SAFE PATTERN
The cards are identical and their order is reshuffled at every step, so position never gives the answer away. Your follower is the only edge you get, and it lasts exactly one run.

EARN YOUR COMPANY
Progress carries between runs, win or lose. Locked followers show exactly what they're waiting for — some want to see you survive, others are drawn by how often you don't.

MANY WAYS IT ENDS
Every story has its own ending, and its own way of finishing you. The dark is never short of ideas.
