## Description

Dichología is an illustrated dictionary of Mexican and Latin American slang: 1,328 sayings (dichos) explained with the seriousness of a linguist and drawn with the literal-mindedness of an obedient child.

Please note: the app is in Spanish. Meanings and examples are written in Spanish, and every saying comes with its word-for-word English translation. It is made for Spanish speakers and for learners who already read Spanish comfortably.

Every entry has:
• Its meaning, explained seriously (which is the funniest thing you can do to it).
• Its literal English translation — "colgar los tenis" = "to hang up the sneakers".
• A real-life example, the kind people actually say.
• An illustration that takes the saying at its word.

A DICHO EVERY 2–3 DAYS
Turn on notifications and you get an illustrated saying you haven't read yet. Like a desk calendar, but rude. You choose the frequency, the time and the spice level.
