## Description

Tend is a task manager built around one idea: your tools shouldn’t add to the noise in your head.

Most task apps assume infinite focus and no bad days. Tend doesn’t. It’s designed from the ground up to be calm, clear, and forgiving — with typography and colour choices backed by dyslexia research, and a structure that keeps you working on one thing at a time instead of staring at an overwhelming list.

Built for focus, not overwhelm

• Atkinson Hyperlegible and Lexend typefaces — designed for readability, not just style

• Four colour themes, including a low-visual-stress blue-grey option researched for dyslexia, and two dark themes for low light or light sensitivity

• A simple three-column board — List, Today, and Focus — so you only ever see what matters right now

• A built-in Pomodoro timer to work in short, sustainable bursts

Work and life, kept separate

Switch between Work and Personal modes with one click — or let Tend do it automatically on weekends, so work tasks quietly step out of view when you’re off the clock.

Know where you stand, without the guilt

My Week shows your completed tasks, effort points, streaks, and overdue items at a glance — a gentle nudge, not a scoreboard. Review Sweep surfaces anything that’s gone quiet for two weeks so you can decide, once, whether to keep it, update it, or let it go.

Stays out of your way

Organise tasks into projects and subgroups, add notes with light rich-text formatting, track effort with a simple 1–5 point scale against a daily capacity you set yourself, and export everything to CSV whenever you want a copy outside the app.

Syncs quietly in the background

Tend syncs via iCloud, so your board is the same everywhere you use it — no accounts, no setup.

Tend doesn’t try to gamify your to-do list or guilt you into productivity. It’s just a clear, quiet place to keep track of what needs doing — and what doesn’t, yet.
