Your video never leaves your phone. SOLO PRACTICE — THE MAIN PATH - Import any clip of one player hitting: handheld, tripod, wall rally, ball machine. No court setup, no calibration. - Say what you were practising — serves, groundstrokes, or not sure — and BreakPoint reads that population: your swing count, your contact height as a fraction of your head height, how tightly your contact heights cluster, and which swings stood out. - YOUR COACH: a plain-language summary built only from those measurements. It names what it measured, credits your own declaration, and says so when a session doesn't give it enough to work with. - Stroke labels are shown as the app's own guesses, never as facts. When you declare what you practised, the declaration wins. - A swing timeline, and a video tab that tells you which swing comes next as you scrub. - Trends across sessions for the same practice type, with a line drawn only once there are enough comparable sessions. COURT & MATCH — THE ADVANCED PATH Mount the phone behind the baseline with the whole court in frame, run the Setup Assistant, calibrate the court, and record: - Line calls with a confidence indicator on every call, read aloud by VoiceOver. - Live match scoring — games, deuce/ad and no-ad, sets, tiebreaks including the 10-point match tiebreak. - Rally length, shot counts by stroke, serve and shot speed estimates, and a bounce-placement heatmap. - Highlight reels of your best rallies and a shareable match-report card. A speed it can't trust is withheld, a swing it can't classify is marked Unclassified, a contact height outside the human range is left out rather than clamped, and an uncalibrated clip gets stroke timing only — never invented court positions. Angles and heights are 2D estimates from the camera's view, and every figure shows how many swings stand behind it. These are on-device estimates to help you review your own game, not officiating-grade measurements.
