## Description

Free, no ads, no account. The app keeps score while you play, the route to the checkout is on the screen, the caller reads it out — and it will not take a 179.

You are at the board with 141 left, working out in your head which three beds will do it. That is what this app is for. It keeps score while you play and shows you the way to the checkout as soon as there is one.

You enter the points however suits you: the whole visit at once, one dart at a time, or by tapping the board itself. If you mistype, you notice straight away — three darts cannot make 179, so the app will not take it. And if you go bust, it says so before the next dart flies.

The caller reads out the scores the way you hear them on TV. It calls the winning set too. The display is big enough to read from the oche.

You can play 301, 501 and 701 with the usual rules for starting and finishing. Cricket is there from two players up, counted dart by dart. Up to eight people fit on one board. And when nobody is around, an opponent inside the app will play you, at five strengths.

After the leg you can see how you really played: how many doubles went in, which double you keep getting stuck on, your average across three darts and how often you finished. There is a picture of the board too, showing where your darts landed. Where the app does not know something, it writes nothing. There are no tidy zeros here that mean nothing.

For practice there is Around the Clock and Bob's 27.

On the iPad everything runs in landscape. Scoreboard and keypad sit side by side, the route to the checkout is readable from two metres away, and the board is large. The iPad usually hangs next to the dartboard anyway.

The app costs nothing. There are no ads, no account and no sign-up. It collects no data either — everything stays on your device.

It was built by someone who stands at the oche himself. If something is missing, say so. Then it goes in.
