Sonatide creates an evolving lo-fi soundtrack on your iPhone or iPad, with original retro scenery to match. Settle into reading, studying, work, or a slow evening. Music is made on your device, so listening needs no account or internet connection.

13 WORLDS TO SETTLE INTO
Travel through nine eras from 1963 to 2001 and four imaginary worlds. Find warm tape keys, brushed jazz, neon nights, an orbital greenhouse, and winter stillness. Each scene brings its own instruments, groove, and original artwork.

YOUR SOUND, YOUR ATMOSPHERE
Adjust Beat, Brightness, and Variation to find the right amount of rhythm and movement. Add rain, ocean, birds, and more. Blend up to three ambience sounds at individual levels, with a separate volume for music. Or keep things simple with music alone.

A ROOM FOR EVERY ROUTINE
Save up to 12 named rooms, each with its sound, ambience, scenery, and clock appearance. Choose whether to include a focus timer. Keep a performance to replay it from the beginning, or generate a new one in the same atmosphere. Your favorite room is one tap away.

FOCUS, REST, REPEAT
Build a rhythm with adjustable focus periods, breaks, and repeat cycles. Try 25 minutes of focus and 5 minutes of rest, or choose your own timing. Let ambience continue on its own during breaks. After the final focus period, playback gently fades out.

A RETRO CLOCK FOR YOUR DESK
Turn your iPhone sideways for a landscape clock. Choose amber, parchment, or sage accents, adjust the clock display, and keep a favorite original background. On iPad, listening settles into a clock view after a minute without interaction. Choose 12- or 24-hour time and optionally keep the screen awake.

KEEP THE MOMENT GOING
Listen while using other apps or with the screen locked. Control playback from system media controls. Share a room's settings with another Sonatide listener, or send a postcard made from its artwork. Room links require Sonatide to be installed; postcards are images.
