Stud Finder turns your iPhone into a magnetic wall scanner. Sweep the phone across the wall and the gauge rises the instant metal is underneath — screws, nails, pipes, conduit and metal studs. Wood studs are found through their fasteners: follow a vertical line of hits and you've found the stud.

HOW IT WORKS
Your iPhone's built-in magnetometer measures tiny changes in the magnetic field (in µT). Stud Finder zeroes itself automatically, filters out noise and shows an honest reading — never a fake "stud here" guess.
