## Description

Winkle washed ashore on a small, forgotten island - just you, your dog Buoy, and the wreck
that brought you here. No enemies. No timers. No way to lose. Only a quiet place to make
your own.
Cut a path through the pines. Pick up loose stones. Pitch a tent, clear the old well, mend
the jetty. Buoy trots at your heels and, now and then, digs something up - a brass button,
a keeper’s pocket-watch that finally tells you the hours. The island remembers the person
who kept it before you, and their story surfaces slowly, in notes and buried things, if
you care to look.
Fish the lake and learn its four fish. Cook your catch over the campfire. Mind your
energy - a good meal or a night’s sleep sets you right. Smelt copper, forge a heavier
axe, and fell the great pine whose roots grip something wooden. What you find beneath
the island points the way home: frame, hull, and sail - a ship of your own making.
When it is ready, the sea will ask you a question. Both answers are good ones.
