Discovered in the Royal Tombs of Ur (modern Iraq) and dating to 2600 BCE, this is one of the oldest playable board games ever found. Race your seven pieces across the board, capture your opponent's pieces, and land on the sacred rosette squares to earn extra rolls. Rules reconstructed from a 2,000-year-old Babylonian clay tablet.

GAME OF 58 HOLES
Known as Hounds and Jackals, this Egyptian race game from 2000 BCE challenges you to navigate a palm tree-shaped board of 29 holes. Land on shortcut squares to leap forward — but beware the penalty holes that send you back.

SENET
The oldest known board game, played in Egypt since 3100 BCE. Pharaohs were buried with Senet sets. Navigate the sacred 30-square board, capture your opponent's pieces, and pass through the mystical Houses of Jubilation, Beauty, and Waters on your journey to the afterlife.
