Sign stars, build academies, turn kids into superstars - and see them called up for their country. CREATE YOUR CLUB. RUN EVERYTHING. Name it, name the ground, and take over. You are the owner. You sign the players, hire the manager, build the academy and pay for the stadium. Every decision comes to you. START AT THE VERY BOTTOM Your club begins in Non-League D with a squad rated 28, a 1,000-seat ground and facilities on level 1. Seven divisions sit above you, 178 clubs in all. Two clubs go up automatically from each one and a third through a play-off between 3rd and 6th. A WORLD THAT PLAYS ON 100 countries, each with its own clubs and squads. Those players age, develop, move and retire while you build, so the 17-year-old you scout in Uruguay is a different player three years later. SIGN THE PLAYERS Bid for stars, take free transfers, and argue over the fee, the weekly wage, the sign-on bonus, appearance money and the length of the deal. Clubs in every country bid all season, for your players and against you for theirs. A 90-rated player is worth about €45M, so most of them start well out of reach. BUILD THE ACADEMY Ten academy levels, each one better at finding and developing teenagers. Sign a 15-year-old, coach him for six years, then decide whether to sell him or build the side around him. HIRE YOUR STAFF The manager picks the team and asks you for signings. Coaches raise the attributes they are best at, scouts find players you cannot see yet, and a physio keeps the squad on the pitch. PLAY THE EUROPEAN NIGHTS Qualify for continental competition and draw clubs from abroad. A group stage, two-legged knockouts, extra time and penalties when a tie stays level, and a trophy at the end. Watch the big ties minute by minute or skip to the result. SEE THEM PLAY FOR THEIR COUNTRY Bring a 16-year-old through and watch him get called up. Your players turn out at international tournaments while your season carries on at home. FEEL THE SUPPORT Your fans have a mood that runs from Furious to Euphoric. Meet what they expect for the division you are in and the crowd grows. Push ticket prices too far and they let you hear it. WATCH THE MATCHES Pick the formation and the XI, then follow the game minute by minute or skip to the score. GROW THE CLUB Set ticket prices, expand the ground, upgrade the training, youth and physio facilities, and stay inside your overdraft. Fall far enough behind and the club goes under, which ends the save. WRITE THE RECORD BOOK Your club keeps its own records from the first match: biggest win, heaviest defeat, most appearances, most goals, most assists, most caps won while on your books, and the best single season anyone has had for you. Sign a teenager, keep him 10 years, and watch him climb the list. PLAY IT YOUR WAY Five minutes on the bus or a full season in one sitting.
