## Description

Tap a hard sentence in JoyRead or Safari for inline English notes or a simpler rewrite. Import EPUB, PDF, Markdown, and TXT, or start with many sample books.

JoyRead is an inline reading assistant that helps you understand English without leaving the text.

When a sentence feels hard, tap it once to add short English notes beside difficult words. Tap again to rewrite the full sentence in simpler, more direct English. The help appears exactly where you are reading, so your attention stays with the book or webpage.

READ IN SAFARI
Turn on the JoyRead Safari extension and tap an English sentence on the page you are browsing. Notes or a simpler rewrite appear in place—no copying, popups, or side panels.

• Use Explain for a whole-sentence explanation at your reading level
• Weave saved language into new AI-generated English stories
• Track reading time, streaks, and learning progress

MADE FOR YOUR LEVEL
Choose an A1–C2 reading level or take a reading self-check. JoyRead can also estimate the vocabulary and sentence complexity of imported books, so you know what to expect before you start.

JoyRead explains English in English. It is not a translation app or a traditional dictionary.

Free features include importing and reading, sample books, bookmarks, highlights, notes, and progress. JoyRead Premium unlocks AI Notes and Simple rewrites for your own content and Safari webpages, plus Explain and AI stories. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account and can be canceled at any time in Settings.

SUBSCRIPTION

JoyRead Premium is an auto-renewable subscription:
• Monthly — $3.99 per month
• Annual — $29.99 per year

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
