DICTATE AND TRANSLATE
Choose the language for your translated text and use a Diktator model or Apple Translation. Save up to three favorite translation languages and switch between them by holding the translation button on the keyboard. Try your language pair with different models and choose the result you prefer.

LOCAL MODELS, YOUR CHOICE
Diktator speech models process audio on your device. Download a model once and use it for offline dictation. Choose from Base, Small, Medium, Large, Turbo Compact and Turbo to suit your device and pace. Base and Small are free; the other four are available with Pro or its trial.

A MULTILINGUAL KEYBOARD
The interface and keyboard support 13 languages: English, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish. Download the language packs you use for typing suggestions, phrase input and text tools.

MADE FOR YOUR WORKFLOW
Find languages, translation, models and proofreading in dedicated Settings sections. With Pro, run a proofreading pass after dictation and review the original and revised text.

FREE AND PRO — NO SUBSCRIPTION
Start with Base or Small, or choose the optional 21-day Pro trial. Pro is a one-time universal purchase for iPhone, iPad and the Mac App Store version. The trial does not renew or charge automatically.

Requires iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. Guided setup helps you download a speech model and enable the keyboard with Full Access for dictation and translation. Apple Translation uses separate language packs. No Diktator account is required.
