## Description

Apple Maps won't tell you when a drawbridge ahead is backing up traffic. Bridget does.

Bridget is a companion for Apple Maps — not a replacement. You plan your trip in Bridget; it finds the movable bridges on your route and hands you off to Apple Maps to drive. While you go, it watches those bridges and warns you when one is backing up traffic — usually because it's raised — so you can reroute around the jam.

It's a smart read of live traffic, computed entirely on your iPhone. There's no public real-time drawbridge feed for drivers, so Bridget reads the congestion instead — tuned against the City of Seattle's official drawbridge opening records. And it's honest about confidence: the board shows which bridges it can flag reliably and which it's still learning.
