## Description

The download runs on your iPhone or iPad, not on a server at home. Parallel connections, PAR2 repair, RAR extraction, and progress on the Lock Screen.

SwiftNZB downloads NZB files on your iPhone and iPad. The app is the downloader itself, not a remote control for one running somewhere else. It opens the connections, decodes the articles, verifies with PAR2, extracts the archives and writes the result into the Files app. No home server, no desktop app, nothing that has to stay switched on.

What you do need is your own Usenet provider account, the same way a mail app needs a mail account. Providers sell those separately. SwiftNZB ships no content and no search. You hand the app an .nzb file through the share sheet or the file picker, and that is the only way anything gets in.

THE DOWNLOAD ENGINE
• Many parallel TLS connections to your server, and the app adjusts how many it uses to suit the link
• Made for mobile networks. Cell handoffs, dead sockets and the jump between Wi-Fi and cellular cost no progress
• Pause, resume, reorder. A download continues at the segment it stopped on, even after you force-quit the app
• Optional speed limit and separate rules for cellular
• The screen stays awake while a download runs, so it keeps going when you set the device down

AFTER THE DOWNLOAD
• PAR2 verification and repair, on the device
• RAR extraction, multi-volume sets included
• Finished files land in the Files app, one folder per download

ON iOS
• Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with pause and resume buttons
• SwiftUI, built for both iPhone and iPad
• Siri and Shortcuts can pause the queue, resume it, or say what is downloading
• Server settings sync across your devices over iCloud, passwords stay in the Keychain
• No ads, no tracking, no accounts. The app talks to the server you configure and to nothing else

WHAT IT COSTS
The first 10 downloads are free. After that, adding a new download needs SwiftNZB Pro, which unlocks unlimited downloads: monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app. Anyone who installed SwiftNZB before this version keeps unlimited downloads for good.

PRIVACY
SwiftNZB collects no data. Your credentials live in the system Keychain. Downloads run through your own provider, with no developer server anywhere in the path.

SwiftNZB needs an account with a Usenet provider. Only download what you have the right to access.
