## Description

SproutBook is a clean, focused journal for home gardeners and balcony growers. You add each plant as a photo card, record sowing, watering, feeding, pruning, pest care, repotting, observations and harvests with notes and up to three photos per entry, set local reminders so you never miss a watering, browse a month calendar to look back on every day's work, and view real statistics drawn entirely from the data you have logged, including plant counts by category and status, monthly watering and feeding totals, and a full harvest history. A built-in, hand-written care tips library covers common crops such as tomato, basil, mint, lettuce, strawberry, chili, marigold, rosemary, cucumber and succulents.
Most plant apps are either bloated subscription products, generic note apps, or AI-driven identifiers that guess at your plant. SproutBook is none of these. It is completely free, has no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no online services. It does not pretend to identify your plants or invent care advice — every piece of information shown comes either from what you have personally logged or from a transparent local knowledge base that ships with the app. The interface is built around a fresh, leafy visual language: rounded photo cards, soft greens, calm typography, and a quiet calendar — designed to feel like a real garden notebook rather than a dashboard.
