## Description

A calm, open-source teleprompter for iPhone and iPad. Write or import scripts, use speed or Voice Follow, and work without an account or subscription.

Phrasa is a native teleprompter for speakers who need a dependable stage, not another account dashboard.

WRITE AND ORGANIZE

Create scripts on your device. Search, tags, folders, sorting, duplication, and autosave keep a growing library tidy.

IMPORT AND EXPORT

Bring in TXT, Markdown, or PDF. Export a script as text or Phrasa JSON. Back up or restore your full library with an explicit merge or replace confirmation.

SPEED PROMPTING

Use smooth continuous motion or line-by-line stepping, scrub through a script, adjust pacing, mirror the display, change the reader theme, blackout the stage, and review a short rehearsal recap when you finish.

VOICE FOLLOWING

Let the prompt follow along as you speak using the microphone and Apple Speech Recognition. On-device recognition is required when the device supports it; otherwise Apple Speech may process audio using Apple services and an internet connection may be required. The Phrasa app uses recognized words in the moment to follow your place; Phrasa’s developer-operated servers do not receive or store microphone audio or speech recognition text.

OUTLINE PRESENTER

Build ordered talking points and step through them with touch, keyboard, or clicker-style controls.

LOCAL FIRST, OPTIONAL SYNC

No account is required for local use. Library, editor, reader, import, export, and backup work offline on your device. Optionally sign in with Apple (primary) or email to sync scripts, folders, tags, and outlines across your devices for App Functionality only. After you sign in, that library content synchronizes automatically on launch and foreground, and shortly after you save library changes; Sync now is also available. Unsaved drafts are not uploaded. Reader settings stay on each device. No ads, tracking, or subscription.

Phrasa is built natively with Swift and SwiftUI for iPhone and iPad.
