## Description

What The Moon? is a fun moon and night-sky app that helps you understand where the Moon is, what phase it is in and when you can see it.

See where the Moon is in the sky, which direction to face, when it rises, when it sets, how high it is, how illuminated it is and where it is in the lunar cycle. Instead of staring at confusing astronomy numbers, What The Moon gives you a live moon compass, moon phase view, rise and set times, map view, saved locations and human-readable explanations with a bit of personality.

Set any location using map search, check your current location, browse moonrise and moonset times or save places you care about. Whether you are watching the night sky, planning a walk, checking the next full moon or photographing the Moon, What The Moon makes lunar movement easier to understand.

What The Moon is great for:

Live Moon Compass
The main compass shows the Moon’s position in a way that makes sense in the real world. See where the Moon is, how that relates to the direction you are facing and whether the Moon is ahead, behind, to your left or to your right.

At a glance, you can see:

* Moon direction
* 3D Moon in the sky, get the perfect shot!
* Elevation
* Moonrise time
* Moonset time
* Lunar transit
* Moon phase

* Moon age
* Distance
* Next full moon
* Visibility above the horizon

Moon With Personality
Choose how the app talks to you with selectable Moon Voice styles. Keep it simple and practical, make it fun, go nerdy with lunar details or turn on rude commentary if you want the Moon to have attitude.

Astronomy does not have to be boring.
