## Description

DeepTraceLog is a calm, private, on-device logbook built for scuba and freediving divers who want every dive remembered the way they lived it. Open the app and you can record a complete dive in seconds: site name and GPS pin, max and average depth, bottom time, water and air temperature, visibility, gas mix, tank pressures consumed, weights, suit, dive type, buddy, a five-star rating, free-form notes, and a small gallery of photos straight from your library. Everything is grouped on big, photo-led cards so your logbook reads like a travel journal instead of a spreadsheet.

What makes DeepTraceLog different from the dive logs already on the store: it is fully local. No account, no cloud, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no ads, and no analytics. Your dives, photos, and GPS pins never leave your iPhone. The app also goes further than a plain logger: hand-drawn charts visualize your depth trend over time, dive-type distribution, and monthly activity, while a dedicated Gear tab tracks each piece of equipment with purchase and service dates and warns you when something is overdue for maintenance. A built-in MapKit view replays every dive site you have visited offline, and one tap exports the entire logbook as a portable CSV file or a shareable dive card image.
