## Description

Put a short walk between you and the feed. Unlock blocked apps with real steps — or lock them down completely. No account, and your data never leaves your iPhone.

Walkaway is the app blocker that makes you move. Instead of a timer you can dismiss, it puts a real, physical walk between you and your most distracting apps.

THE PROBLEM WITH WILLPOWER
Feeds are engineered to be opened on autopilot. By the time you notice, an hour is gone. Walkaway interrupts the reflex with the one thing a feed can't compete with: your own body in motion.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the apps that pull you in (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — anything).
2. Walkaway shields them using Apple's Screen Time technology.
3. Want in? Walk. Your steps are counted live, and when you hit your goal the app unlocks for a short session.

Moving is the opposite of scrolling. Most of the time, by the end of the walk, you no longer want to open the app at all.

WAYS TO BLOCK
• Walk to unlock — earn your time with real steps, counted by your iPhone's motion sensor
• Hard block — no early unlock, no exceptions
• Schedules — block mornings, evenings, or any custom daily window
• Commitment locks — seal a block for 3 hours up to 1 week; no way to switch it off early

BUILT TO RESIST FUTURE-YOU
Deleting the app or flipping blocking off in Settings is the loophole every blocker shares. Walkaway walks you through closing it: lock your settings with a Screen Time passcode you don't memorize, and the block actually sticks.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up
• Step counting happens on-device
• Apple's Screen Time framework means Walkaway never sees which apps you use or what you do in them
• Nothing leaves your iPhone

A 1-MINUTE SCROLL CHECK
Four quick questions show how much of your scrolling runs on autopilot — then Walkaway sets the right walking goal for you.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Doomscrollers who lose hours without deciding to
• Students and deep workers protecting their focus
• Anyone trying a digital detox who wants to move more instead of scrolling

Stop negotiating with the feed. Put your shoes on and take your time back — one walk at a time.
