## Description

Know the light before you sign.

You get one viewing. Twenty minutes, on a grey afternoon in November, to decide about a place you'll live in for years. And the one question nobody in the room can answer is what the sun does here. Solis answers it in seconds, for that exact address, on any day of the year.

Drop the crosshair on the flat, the house, the plot, the balcony. Solis draws the sun's whole path across that spot's sky: where it comes up, how high it climbs, which way the light falls and where it goes down. On true compass bearings, in that spot's own time zone, computed on your device, with no signal needed.

Standing there in November? Check July. Scrub to any date and watch the whole arc redraw.

Then point your phone at the building. The sun's path is drawn over the real rooftops in front of you, on true compass bearings, so you can see for yourself whether the sun clears that roofline in winter or the room goes dark in October.

What you get:
• The sun's path for any address, drawn on the map with the hours marked
• Is it really south-facing? See which way the light actually comes from
• AR sky view. The sun's whole path drawn over the real building through your camera
• Any date. Stand in a flat in November and check what June looks like. Requires a one-time unlock or a monthly plan
• Map dial. Drag anywhere on Earth and check a place before you travel to see it
• Where the sun sits right now, on the map and through the camera
• Heading-follow mode. The map and the dial rotate with your phone
• Standard or satellite map, flat or tilted
• 12-hour or 24-hour clock
• Midnight sun and polar night at high latitudes
• No ads, no tracking, no account required. Your locations never leave the device.

Solis shows you where the sun goes. It does not model shadows cast by buildings or trees, so the AR view is there to let you see those for yourself.

Sun-position math is based on the NOAA Solar Position Algorithm.

Required permissions:
• Location: to know where to compute the sun's path
• Camera: only used by the AR view, to draw the arc over what's in front of you
