FlipTicker turns any Apple TV into a split-flap display the kind you remember from train stations and airport terminals.  Every character flips into place with real mechanical clatter, rendered tile by tile with proper lighting and wear.

Pick what you want on the board and leave it running.  Weather, air quality, pollen, sun and moon, tides, live sports scores, currency rates, flight tracking, earthquakes, news headlines, word of the day, trivia, and the ISS overhead — all refreshing on their own.

28 color themes, 17 typefaces, and 12 sound presets from a whisper to a full clatter. Adjust the grid, the flip speed, and how tiles reveal. Set it to dim in the evening and switch off overnight.  

Built for real screens.  Burn-in protection, a schedule so it sleeps when you do, and a board that keeps rendering even when the internet doesn't.

Free to use. 

The full board, live data, and three themes cost nothing. A one-time in-app upgrade unlocks every theme and the premium modules.

For businesses. A monthly subscription adds a web dashboard for managing up to 10 screens remotely — menu boards, staff directories, bell schedules, live stock and crypto tickers.
