Jann is an AI fridge chef that recognizes food with your camera. Take one photo of your fridge or groceries and Jann works out what you have and how many — then suggests dishes you can cook right now. No typing ingredients one by one.

CAMERA INGREDIENT RECOGNITION
- Snap a photo in the Scan tab to recognize 60+ foods: vegetables, fruit, meat, seafood, dairy and more
- Recognition runs on your device first — works offline, no photo upload
- Anything the device misses can get a second look from AI, only if you opt in (30 per month)
- Review the results and add everything to your fridge in one tap

RECEIPT SCAN
- Photograph a grocery receipt to add everything you bought at once
- Receipt reading stays on your device
- Estimated expiry dates are added automatically

FLAVOR PAIRING
- Pairing data covering 1,724 ingredients and 7,048 combinations
- 2,500+ home-style recipes
- Dishes with the fewest missing ingredients come first, and missing items are named
- Tap "Cooked it" to remove used ingredients from your fridge

AI RECIPES
- Pick what you have and AI writes a new recipe (15 free per month)

WASTE LESS
- See what to use first on the home screen
- D-day labels and expiry reminders

PRIVACY
- Turn AI features on or off in the My tab
- Only when AI is on are selected photos and ingredient names sent to the AI server (OpenAI); they are not used for training
- Browse without signing in
