Most productivity tools reward capture. They make it easy to collect twenty, fifty, a hundred things to think about, then leave you scanning a wall of text every time you open the app. Focal Three is the opposite. It's not where all your work lives — it's the surface that decides what's visible.

Create as many categories as you like: Work, Personal, Fun, House, Someday. Each category has its own list, but only three projects get promoted into the focus view. Those three appear as quiet, well-typeset cards. Everything else stays below the fold until you promote it.
