## Description

Traverse is the planning tool for backcountry skiers, alpinists, climbers, and mountain guides. Tap anywhere on the 3D map to get terrain, weather, avalanche danger, and glacier context — all in one place, without switching apps.

TERRAIN INTELLIGENCE
Slope angle, aspect, terrain shade, flat areas, and elevation bands are first-class map layers. See where the dangerous terrain is before you leave home.

AVALANCHE CONTEXT
Regional danger ratings, bulletin headlines, wind direction, freezing level, and recent snowfall are shown beside the map — not buried in a separate app.

WEATHER AT ELEVATION
Forecasts are tied to the specific place and elevation band you are reviewing. Temperature, wind, precipitation, cloud cover, and freezing level for the route, not the nearest town.

GLACIER INTELLIGENCE
Glacier outlines, ice-flow velocity, crevasse susceptibility, and snowline signals are available as map layers. No other iOS app brings this to the field.

HUTS ON THE MAP
Mountain huts appear directly on the map with altitude, capacity, winter room availability, and open/closed status. Search by name or tap to explore nearby options.

ROUTE PLANNING
Draw routes freely, snap to OSM trails, or browse thousands of routes from Camptocamp and PeakHut. Every route shows distance, elevation gain, and a Naismith time estimate with a fitness multiplier.

ATLAS & OFFLINE
Save routes, waypoints, and offline map regions to your Atlas. Take the map into the field without cell service.

TRIP PLANS
Build multi-day plans with day notes, attached routes, waypoints, permits, bookings, and a gear checklist. Share a plan link with your group before you go.

APPLE WATCH + LIVE ACTIVITY
Track your route on your wrist. Live Activity keeps your progress on the lock screen throughout the day.
