WHAT KAIA DOES

Chat anywhere
Ask Kaia for help with writing, ideas, summaries, drafts, explanations. The model lives on your device. The internet is optional.

Bring your own search key
For questions that need today's web — weather, news, recent events — connect a Tavily or Brave Search key. Their free tiers cover roughly 1,000 to 2,000 searches a month, and your key stays on your device. Off by default.

Calendar that understands
Ask "what's on my schedule tomorrow?" and Kaia reads from your local calendar — but only when you grant access in Settings, and only on-device. Events never sync to a server.

See what you're looking at
Attach a photo and ask Kaia about it. Vision runs through Gemma 4, on-device, on the GPU.

Distance and directions
"How far is downtown?" works without a network. Location + on-device geocoding, no map service round-trip.

VOICE AND PERSONAS (Pro)

Hands-free
Talk to Kaia, get spoken replies. Speech recognition runs on-device.

Custom prompts per chat
Set a different system prompt for each conversation. Coding coach in one chat, language tutor in another, focused brainstorming partner in a third.

Export your conversations
Save chats as Markdown or PDF for archiving, sharing, or searching later.

Kaia ships with zero third-party analytics or telemetry SDKs. We have no servers to see your prompts because the prompts don't leave your phone. No account, no signup, no email collection.

POWERED BY GOOGLE LITERT-LM

Inference runs entirely on-device through Google's LiteRT-LM runtime, accelerated on the GPU. Available models are Google Gemma 4 E2B and E4B (Gemma Terms of Use) — the E2B model also reads images for on-device vision.

REQUIREMENTS

iPhone with Apple silicon. iPhone 15 Pro and later have the memory headroom for the larger models. iPhone-only — not available on iPad.

Subject to Google's Gemma Prohibited Use Policy, surfaced inside the app where you actually see it.
