Visitors begin by scanning an entry QR code provided by the facility. The app then guides the user through Apple's Screen Time authorization process to enable a temporary secure session on their own device for the duration of the visit. Once the visit is complete, the secure session ends through a verified checkout process.

CamBlock uses Apple's public Screen Time frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity) together with explicit user authorization. The app does not use Mobile Device Management (MDM), configuration profiles, or private APIs.
