A FEW HONEST NOTES AppRoster surfaces public data from Apple's iTunes Search API and customer-review RSS feeds. A few things worth knowing up front: • Apple's RSS feed contains text reviews only — silent star-tappers don't appear, so each country's histogram is a sample of the most recent ~50 written reviews, not the entire user base. • Apple delays new reviews into RSS by roughly 24 hours — hitting refresh won't show a review that posted minutes ago. • Mac App Store apps don't expose an aggregate rating through Apple's public API — AppRoster estimates Mac ratings from the most recent text reviews, so treat them as a directional signal, not an exact store average. • Apps must be live on the public App Store (TestFlight builds aren't visible to iTunes Search).
