MacBeam turns your iPhone or iPad into a remote control for your own Mac.

  Same Wi-Fi, or any VPN like Tailscale — see your Mac's full screen at 60fps, type with the real keyboard,
  hear system sound, all from your couch, your bed, or the café down the street. No accounts. No cloud servers.
   Direct peer-to-peer over TLS.

  • 32-byte pre-shared key + HMAC-SHA256 message integrity
  • Mac server stores PSK in macOS Keychain, all binaries codesigned with hardened runtime

  1. Download MacBeam (this app) on iPhone/iPad
  2. Install the free Mac server from yoonspower.github.io/macbeam/
  3. Click the lock+shield  menubar icon on Mac → "Start Pairing" → 6-digit PIN
  4. Enter the PIN on iPhone → done. Auto-reconnects from then on.
