Nine of the eleven games are head-to-head. Most can be passed back and forth on a single phone, and Bluetooth links two iPhones directly — no internet, no accounts, no matchmaking. Tower of Hanoi and Word Search are solo puzzles.

Five difficulty levels, from Toddler to Pro. Toddler plays gently for little ones who are still learning the rules. Pro will beat most adults.

Turn it on and every piece told apart only by colour gets a letter too — R and B on the checkers, R and Y on the discs.
