Whatever you're playing on your Mac — music, a YouTube video, a podcast, a Zoom call, a film, a Logic session — Audio Mirror sends the audio to your iPhone or iPad over Wi-Fi. Walk into the kitchen and keep listening. Set the device next to you on the couch instead of leaning toward the laptop. Pipe your Mac's audio anywhere on your home network.

Your Mac's speakers keep playing alongside the iPhone — this is an extra output, not a replacement. Use them both, or mute the Mac and let the iPhone or iPad be the only speaker.

Why not AirPlay or Bluetooth?
• AirPlay can't target an iPhone or iPad as a speaker.
• Bluetooth doesn't reach across the house and locks your device to one pairing.
• Audio Mirror is Wi-Fi: longer range, lower latency, and your device stays free for everything else.

Three quality profiles, switch live without disconnecting:
• High Quality — 48 kHz stereo, 128 kbps
• Low Latency — around 30 ms end-to-end, for video and calls
• Low Bandwidth — 32 kbps mono for spotty networks

Symmetric setup. Open Audio Mirror on both devices on the same Wi-Fi and tap to connect. Either side can initiate.

Privacy first. No accounts. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. Audio flows directly between your devices, encrypted with DTLS. Nothing leaves your network.

The Mac companion is a free Universal Purchase — one price, both apps.

Requires Screen Recording permission on the Mac (the only way macOS lets third-party apps read system audio, via ScreenCaptureKit). Audio Mirror only reads the audio samples — no screen image is ever captured, transmitted, or displayed.
