OBJECT OR MOVEMENT DETECTION

Use on-device object detection for supported targets such as people, dogs, cats, birds, backpacks, and balls. Choose movement mode when any meaningful activity should start recording. Clear sensitivity presets help balance quick reactions against small background movements.

KEEP RELATED MOMENTS TOGETHER

If a target leaves and returns, Detective Cam can keep confirmed events in the same pending session. Continue watching, then save the related moments as one clip when you are ready.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Detection runs on your device. Clips stay in local Files storage, no account is required, and you decide when watching starts, a session is saved, or a clip is deleted.

• Simple presets plus fine-tuned sensitivity controls
• Camera zoom and Motion Zoom Assist on supported devices

Live viewing requires Detective Cam Premium and both devices on the same local network. Use one nearby iPhone or iPad as the camera and watch live from another iPhone or iPad. The connection is encrypted and protected by a pairing code.

FREE AND PREMIUM

The free plan includes core object and movement recording, camera controls, Shortcuts, and a daily allowance of saved sessions. Detective Cam Premium adds unlimited saves and events, more clip history, custom target phrases, High Accuracy tracking, and Peer Camera. Monthly and lifetime purchase options are available.

Detective Cam is designed for focused local recording and review. Detection can miss or misidentify objects. It is not a professional alarm system, emergency monitor, or replacement for dedicated safety equipment.
